Finally! after a LONG struggle.. (who am i kidding[?]) i finally got an A in ALGEBRAA!! and not only an A.. its a A+ and THE HIGHEST IN THE CLASS.. wakakkaa.. i got 101/100.. i SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN 102.. i was carelesss. >.<

ANYWAY.. this weekend i was busy busy.. i worked on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.. on saturday i was juz working some bride's lunch.. with Linda.. omgawd.. ppl at work really love me.. hahaha.. i wasnt feelin well.. and she made me honey and lemon.. and gave me the mug and said go take a rest.. hahaha.. she 'officially' adopted me.. ahahhhaha.. <3

then sunday.. worked lunch at the tavern.. i should serve soon.. MUST.. SHOULD.. really slow day.. i got like 8 to-gos.. and i goofed up on one.. they ordered 5 custom made sandwiches.. and 4 of them were turkey and cheese.. i forgot to key in turkey in the computer.. ahhaha.. Scott came out of the kitchen and was like.. all they want is cheese? i m like.. errr.. turkey? hahaha.. but i DID remember to put roast beef on the last one.. ahhaha.. i was being flustered.. nyway.. Scott gave me a COOOKIEEE.. which i shared with everyone.. it tasted good. =) Scott is nice..

Monday.. OMGAWD MONDAY.. ALLEN TATE FUN DAYY.. for THEM.. honestly its a waste of TIME and MONEY to hire PEOPLE TO COME IN ON OUR DAY OFF TO PICK PLASTIC PLATES OFF THE DINING TABLES WHEN THERE ARE TRASH CANS ALL AROUND THE ROOM.. its SO effing RETARDED.. SO SO STUPID.. omgawd.. they re stupid plastic plates.. and they just need to thrown away.. honestly i think sometimes The POint is SO superficial.. >.<

And we had to wear Polos.. thats fine.. but its also quite dumb to tuck them in.. ESPECIALLY if you re a girl.. do you know how short girls polos are.. and you want us to tuck them in? when we're wearing kinda sorta pants that are high.. omgawd.. stupid.. we had to work hard.. it was a mess.. and we still had to set up for wednesday buffet.. and tuesday lunch. meaning.. clear the WHOLE room of BIG tables.. and set up the usual ones.. a P.A.I.N. I.N. T.H.E. B.U.T.T

we got out at 11.30.. the point has a rule that they wont keep their high-schoolers past 10.00pm.. but legally they CAN keep us till 11.00pm.. but we had so much sh*t to do that they kept us till around 11.20.. yea theres a law that says you cant keep those who are still in high school past 11.00.... kewl! but i had homework to do.. so i stayed up doing math problems till about... hmm.. 11.20? and i was so tired i slept in my work clothes.. I KNOW ITS GROSS.. but i couldnt help it.. i wanted to shower.. but the shower makes a WHISTILING NOISE.. liek it squeals.. kinda sorta.. so you can hear it from downstairs..i dont want to wake the whole household up..

so today we had a history test.. i missed 4.. i dont noe how the teacher is going to count it.. but he said the highest is 97.. PLEASE [even though the math doesnt add up] LET IT BE ME.. I NEED TO MAINTAIN THE ALL As. and so far.. my average in that class is 101.. it needs to STAY IN THE 100s OR AT LEAST THE 95s.. omgawd.. kiasu Malaysian.. its not the kiasu-ism.. its just that the ppl in class annoy me.. so to get back at them is to kick their butt in tests.. ahahha.. whatever.. i m being stupid..

so big news.. i m getting a CELLPHONE.. they dont call it handphones here.. and they dont call SMS .. well.. SMS.. they call it TEXTING.. no msging either.. just TEXT.. *rolls eyes.. nyway..

okay.. the story unfolds on the sunday two weeks ago.. when i went to work brunch as usual.. Alex was was working too.. so he took both of us to work.. and i tied my hair in TWO.. so i was walking and JOSH the dishwasher said.. i haven't seen nyone in pigtails for a really long time.. and he made some comment that i dont remember..

Now, i have always thought that pigtails referred to braids.. or plaits.. so i was like.. they re not pig tails.. they re juz hair tied into two pony tails.. and then he asks linda.. and linda says theyre pig tails.. ponytails are when you tie one.. =.=lll

END OF SCENE 1

Then after watering a table.. i went to the back hall.. and i saw fern and jake.. and i immediately asked.. WHY are they called pigtails? Pigs dont have two tails.. I HONESTLY WAS SURE THEY WERE NOT PIG TAILS.. and then jake goes.. Pigs have two tails.. Dont you know? i m like WHAT THE HECK?? NO SUCH THING.. and he continues.. well in America, we genetically modify our pigs to become bigger so that we can profit more from it.. and i m like.. HUH? since WHEN? and then my ever so trust-worthy friend Fern, chips in.. yea.. even in tomatoes.. they have chicken genes in them..

and then they leave.. i m like confused. NEVER in my life have i heard of such things.. and then i ask JJ the chef.. Do pigs in America have two tails? and he goes.. UH huh.. dont you know.. and he says.. Phil [another chef] pigs have two tails right? and Phil goes. heck yea.. and i m like.. wth?? and then Josh chips in and says.. You want me to bring you to farm? All the pigs have two tails! AND I WAS LIKE.. no EFFING WAY.. and then i ask ALEX.. and he goes.. yea.. dont pigs in Malaysia have two tails.. and i said.. NO..THEY DONT!!!

so i was really REALLY dumbfounded.. like i said.. i have NEVER EVER EVA heard of pigs with two tails.. i have heard of the pig with two heads.. but not tails.. then jake comes in and i ask him.. so you re tryin to tell me.. that pigs in America are genetically modified.. so basically they are 2 pigs squashed into one to become bigger.. but the tails are left behind? [i was being stupid] and he goes Uh huh.. thats the concept or smth like that.. so okay

like 30 mins later.. Jake comes back in and says.. we were just messin' with ya.. i m telling you now coz fern isnt going to.. and he goes away laughing.. and i m like JAKE! SH*T!!! and he was like.. you TOTALLY bought it... i m pretty good and he was praising himself.. but honestly the way he said it.. was totally believable.. i mean.. OMGAWD.. he didnt hesitate.. he juz talked.. smooooth.. i m like.. whaaaaaaaaat? although the story is kinda NOT believable the way he told it was like.. okayyyyy.. PLUS FERN... added that little fact about the tomatoes + chicken genes.. which is TOTALLY true btw..

but ANYHOW.. SHE FREAKING TOLD EVERYBODY TO TELL ME THAT PIGS HAVE TWO TAILS IF I ASK.. AND EVERYBODY TOLD ME THAT PIGS HAD STUPID @#$%^%$#$%^ TWO TAILS!! AND EVERYBODYYY TOLD ME THAT PIGS HAVE STUPID CURLY PINK TAILS!! ugh.. I WAS SOOOOOOOO EMBARRASSED.. omgawd.. UP to a POINT WHERE JOSH THE MUNGON SAID.. i was a DITZ. and i should be BLONDE.. (ditz is somewhat like a bimbo..) Omgawd..

and Frank.. omigoodness frank... i should have asked him.. my MOST trustworthy pal.. [fern is my trustworth pal too.. but look what she did to me =.=] AND HE WAS LIKE LAUGHIN AT ME.. and SAID.. THEY GOT YOU GOOD ELENA.. YOU GOTTA ADMIT..THEY GOT YOU GOOD! and he made me knuckle him (like put my knuckles and his knuckles together) and i was like.. oh MY GOD! I COULDNT BELIEVE that all of them ganged up on me...

and plus.. everyone knows about it.. they told everybody.. grrr.. stupid pigs and their tails.. i mean i didnt TOTALLY buy it.. [OK Ok I KINDA SORTA DID!] .. and it was believable to me.. kinda.. i have a funny story to tell.. but i cant tell it.. bcoz i wrote a letter to my sister.. and it was 12 pages long.. and if i tell the story of the two tailed pigs.. i m going to waste my effort of writing the freaking letter.. in fact.. i do not have anything to write.. i mean i DO.. have stuff to blog about.. BUT.. i cant coz of the letter.. so be patient.. a few more days.. like 2 or 3? nyway.. ill think of stuff i CAN blog about..

oh okay.. i got an average of 101 in my world history class.. we have had 2 tests so far.. the full marks was 100 + 8(xtra credit) and 100.. so the average of that should be.. 104 .. and i got 101.. i got 108 for the first test.. and a 94 for the other.. and you know what my history teacher said for the second test? YOU LOOKED LIKE YOU WERE STRUGGLING ON THAT ONE.. i m like.. whoaaa.. i got a 94.. which is an A.. struggling ka? juz coz im a chinese GIRL.. doesnt mean i have to get all correct all the time.. ish.. teachers expect alot from asian ppl.. its like a stereotype.. asians = hardworking +smart + good at math.. lolx.. im not hardworkin or good at math.. i m juz smart.. haha.. but i HAVE been studying.. i juz didnt really study for the second test.. i was kinda tired.. but i still got a 94..

oh and.. i have a dress fitting nxt Thursday.. for.. PROM.. yea right.. hahhaha.. prom is in spring.. nyway.. the dress fitting is for my choir dress.. i get to keep the dress for a whole year or smth like that.. so there ll be a $25 maintenance fee for that.. then i have to buy character shoes.. those dancing shoes.. black.. i think they were 35? and then i have to buy tights/bloomers.. if i join show choir.. which i dont think so.. and i m definitey buying the choir t-shirt.. its so cool.. it had a big QUAVER on it.. and says property of the wagner (my choir teachers name) and i think it says WCVS or smth that stands of the choir thingy.. i m not too sure.. juz think about it..

i m walking and my t-shirt says Lake Norman Choir.. and then some talent scout will probably spot me.. and then he'll ask me to sing for him.. or make a recording for him.. and then i do.. then he signs a contract with me.. and i get to SING.. and i make a chart-topping song.. and belt it out on the radio.. and at concerts.. and juz SING SING SING.. and then i will become FAMOUS.. and everyone will want my autograph.. EVEN DAVID BECKHAM.. when he asks for my autograph.. my purpose of life will have been fulfilled.. HAHAHAHA.. omgawd.. i need to wake up.. haha =)

this week in school.. hmm.. not much.. we did pacer runs on thursday.. the night i work SHRIMP NIGHT.. omgawd.. this is what a pacer run is.. you hear a beep.. run from one end to the other.. then wait for the other beep.. then run back to the other side.. the beeps keep gettin faster.. many ppl.. including some guys couldnt complete 50.. i was at 46 and was thinkin of quitting.. but i was like.. NO.. CANNOT QUIT... and i COMPLETED THE STUPID THING.. omfGAWD.. my legs felt like jelly.. and i was feelin GIDDY.. and i still played indoor soccer.. we won both games... =) i was goalie for the first game.. haha.. we won 5-1.. its juz PE.. not hard.. but stupid pacer runs.. my legs hurt the nxt day.. but they re better now.. 7 more weeeks of PE.. and we re DONE.. ugh...

and miss wagner approached me saying that i should join PERFORMANCE ENSEMBLE NXT SEMESTER.. usually you have to take 60 min. year long classes.. and she said she rarely made exceptions.. but she will for me.. how COOL IS THAT =) performance ensemble are all the upperclassmen.. if i m not wrong.. =) we ll see.. but right now.. im almost sure i m goin to the bahamas....SMILEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

I NEARLY LOST MY PENCIL BOX AT WORK THE OTHER DAY.. scared the living daylights out of me.. i like or rather.. i LOVE MY STATIONERYY VERY MUCH.. and i had my stapler in there.. all the staplers here are plus-size.. you cant carry them around in your pencil box... the story was.. i was waiting for Eric come pick me up from work.. and i brought my homework.. and i was sitting on a bench near the dumpsters [stench nearly killed me] and doing my algebra.. and suddenly i hear a rattling sound.. *clink clinketyy clanketyy clank clink clunk and it was DARK AND I WAS ALONE.. and i was freaking out.. and thank goodness it was just Blair with her chef-cart.. omgawd.. and then i saw headlights.. and it was eric.. and i jumped and grabbed my folder and pencil and ruler and eraser.. and ran to the car.. leaving everything else behind..

and then when i reached home.. i was like.. OMGAWD WHERE THE @^%*#! IS MY PENCIL BOX!! and i was like.. oh NOOOOOOOOO.. i left it at a strategic spot to be thrown awayyyy.. THE DUMPSTERSS [play scary music]

but i found it.. or rather.. FRANK MY SAVIOUR found it.. he didnt know whose it was.. but he knew ONE THING.. whoever it was.. they didnt want it sittin out by the dumpsters.. omgawd.. Love frank.. =) hahhaha.. so me and my pencil case... REUNITED.. AT LAST.. those last 18 hours were just the worst of my life.. hhahaha..

i got a 108/108 in my history class.. the HIGHEST obviously.. =) i didnt study like mad.. i m juz an intense note-taker.. and it was an open note.. the lowest was a 60 something.. which FYI is FAIL.. yeA i noe.. so.. i got 108 for that.. and also.. its much more interesting to learn history in english.. oh yea.. and we re learning what we learnt earlier this year in sejarah ting. 4.. so its basically KINDA SORTA the same but only in english.. i recognise stuff like Mesopotamia... tigris-euphrates.. which is said eyu-fray-tees.. something like that.. its like ZAMAN MESIR PURBA JENG JENG.. EARLY EGYPTIAN CIVILIZATION.. JENG JENG.. haha.. nyway.. i got an 87 for algebra.. it was a few questions.. so one careless mistakes carries alot of marks.. so basically i got a few careless mistakes.. like 3? and i got an 87.. which is a freaking B.. its an A1 at home goddammit... hahha..

classes today was a blur again.. PE suxed as usual.. made some a new friend.. she s a freshman.. love her name.. frankie.. =) and then.. had lunch with justin & company.. nice ppl.. theres this guy there in particular.. corey i think his name is.. and he s so funny.. hes a white.. he says.. but a chinese at heart.. he knows alot of chinese too.. he also says.. he was born in china.. smth lidat.. coz his mom apparently gave birth to him on cruise and had to go to china to register.. now where have i heard that b4.. hahaha.. and then theres emily.. her hair s so pretty. its like curly.. and then theres alli.. World History.. mr tinucci is my teacher.. he s cool.. good looking ..married.. with 2 kids and one of ems starting kindergarten.. He told us.. and he s 36? i think.. i cant rmbr.. he s kinda vague when teacher although he s a energetic teacher.. i wish he d b more dtailed..

second block (= 2nd period)
Algebra II.. Mrs. Grigg is my teacher.. she s teacher who like all math teachers believe in Practice makes perfect.. i wish it wasnt so.. haha.. nyway.. she gives homework.. and quizzes.. and doesnt tolerate smart-mouths like some certain sophomores in my class..overall she s good teacher.. abit stern.. but thats how some teachers are.

third block
HEALTH AND PE.. by far my LEAST favourite time of the day.. i m stuck with freshman who like MOST freshman [not all] are annoying and immature.. and some think they re king of the school.. and bossy lil wenches.. Miss myers is my teacher.. she a sweet lady.. but too bad she doesnt make us do stuff in PE.. its better than watching some freshman flirt with guys.. its gross..

it got better on friday.. hung out with justin and his friends.. nice ppl.. i m xpecting it to get better..

fourth and LAST block
Choral arts I.. miss wagner is my teacher.. she s dynamic.. she s really dynamic.. she has a beautiful voice and i think she has some french in her blood.. i enjoy her classes.. we SING.. and SOAR and SING!! AND massage each other.. hahaha. thats what we do in warm up.. first we go from our highest pitch to the lowest.. so it sounds like a SIREN.. then followed by breathing exercises.. and then massage the person nxt to you.. and left to you.. then we sing scales and arpeggios.. so far thats all we ve been doing.. SO FAR.. we should be singing songs soon..

so thats school for me.. it seems awful short.. although the hours are longer than school back home.. time passes quick for me.. mayb coz i have the last lunch.. i dunno..

TODAY.. i called mommy and talked to her.. and then tidied and vacuumed the bathroom and my room.. so my room is quite tidy.. now.. and i m tired.. and i want to sleep.. have a history test tomorrow.. i did study.. i ll study more on my hour long bus ride to school tomorrow.. yea morning traffic jams SUCK.. goin to pack my bag.. plan my wardrobe and go to sleep.. tired.. and GIDDY

UPDATE!!!

so.. i havent been updating for this past week.. other than life at school.. lifes good.. so far my impression of school isnt really good.. i mean i like the classes and all.. but the ppl are not as what i xpected.. mayb coz the area i m in are full of rich kids.. who are born with silver-spoons in their mouths.. i dunno.. but nyway.. there are nice ppl there.. and I kinda enjoy myself when i m with them..

and my choir teacher.. or rather.. choral arts teacher picked me and a few other kids in my choral arts I class to GO ON TOUR TO THE BAHAMAS ON A CRUISE NEXT SPRING BREAK! how cool is that!?! as far as i know it ll be a one week cruise.. we ll be performing at different places where we stop.. thats what i assume.. but apparently Lake Norman High School's show choir and Performance Ensemble is a big deal.. so i m really excited.. the cost of the whole trip is approx. $700.. daddy said he'd pay half of it.. and i ll pay half of it.. =) means.. I M OFF TO THE BAHAMAS!!! hahaha.. if nothing goes wrong.. i think i got an advantage coz.. no. 1 i m a foreign looking student.. and no .2 my knowledge in music theory helped a LITTLE.. we had a theory placement test.. and i think i did pretty well on that.. and i had to sing for Miss Wagner.. (my choral arts teacher..) i think i did okay.. i could have sang higher.. but something made me laugh.. and she taught i d reach my limit.. but doesnt matter..

tomorrow is labour day.. or rather labor day.. americans spell funny.. like colour.. they spell color.. and harbour.. like harbor.. whatever.. but i have to clean my room.. and i'll be stayin in anya's room for a month.. since her grandma and grandaunt are coming from finland this tuesday.. so i have to move some stuff out.. my laptop is DEFINITELY gonna follow me.. haha.. i got some piano scores from the internet and i dont have a printer..so i took my laptop downstairs and set it on the piano.. and played! ANYWAY..

school is gettin better.. i dont like it as much as i thought i would.. but its not as bad as the first few days.. but i must say.. all i did was cry when i came back from school the first 4 days.. and on thursday it was SO BAD.. that i couldnt stand it.. and i burst out crying at work.. and honestly.. i love the ppl at work... all of them are SO supportive.. fern, nadja, lori, linda, frank, ken.. all of them were juz showering me with care and lovin.. haha.. thanks you guys.. love you loads.. like really loads.. i didnt tell eric and leena or nybody at home for that mattter that i was THAT miserable.. i didnt want them to worry.. but i needed to vent.. so i vented to co-workers.. and i got a chocolate-raspberry cheese cake courtesy of frank that night.. omgawd.. it was THE BEST! ever.. <3

i m still at work now.. i m wating on jake to finish washing the loading dock.. man's job if not i d help.. i worked like from 9.04 am this morning..(the a.m says it all) and its now 10.11 pm.. so about 13 hours and 13 * 7.25 = 82.50 usd.. niceeee... hahah BIG FAT PAYCHECK coming MY WAY to pay for the bahamas.. i need spending money tooo! hahaha.. i got like 62 hours this for the last pay period.. so it s like 62*7.25= 490 dollars +/- yayyyy!! hahhah.. but when i go home.. i still have to tidy my room.. and do my homework.. tomorrow i have to vaccuum and keep away some stuff and get my clothes and find a place to dump them.. and then i have to clean the bathroom AND study for a history test..

world history is really a facinating class.. and mr. tinucci is a good teacher.. he s really funny.. i mean hes not funny.. he s COOL.. he s a good teacher.. although i find him like cikgu hakim.. and i feel he could go in depth.. a little more.. i guess we re supposed to self study some too.. anyway hes a really random guy too.. for a pop quiz bonus question the other day the question was.. who was the celebrity that tried to commit suicide just the other day.. i was totally blank.. and jakes here so we re gonna go now..
