Celebration time.. COME ON..

Lately...

right now i m sittin on an air mattres in Anya's room with the laptop on a stool and BLOGGIN.. its 10.28 pm 30th of June, Saturday night.. the reason WHY i m in here is because we have COMPANY OVER.. yea..

Eric's sister, lydia and her husband carl and their kids, August,13, Peter,11 and Analisa, 8 is stayin here till wednesday..they re from michigan.. OH and they have one more kid... christian who s a month younger than me but is out of country in germany? or somewhere out of country.. DANG IT .. hahaha.. oh well.. there are other fish in the sea.. =)

Tomorrow i have got to work.. and i m still in like.. YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME MODE.. at 9.00am in the morning.. workin sunday brunch.. like.. aaaaaaaa.. malasnyeeeeee.. EEEK.. i have to get up earlier to take a shower.. and i have no alarm clock coz i left mine in the room i usually sleep in.. should i call it MY room?? okay fine.. my temporary room.. blah.. so i have to use my internal alarm clock... BLAH.. oh so lazeeee..

my hand is gettin better but i cant bend it all the way down.. esp the middle finger.. coz the wound is like long and in the middle of the joint where you usually bend your fingers... so i cant do that juz yet.. but its gettin better.. no more pus and its dryin out.. so i guess its kinda good.. but i wish it would heal faster.. its juz so annoying.. and i d take a picture but i m kinda lazee to upload it now.. i m so sleepy and its like only 10.36pm.. i ve been helping Leena clean up today.. my room looks SOOOO NEAT... neater than it usually is anyway..

OH YEA I WENT DRIVING!!!!! i m done with drivers ed theory course... YAYYYY.. Leena took anya and i to a school parking lot and we had a little practice driving b4 our 6 hours of practical work.. since its like.. the 6 hours is on the ROAD.. like MAIN ROAD WHERE ALL OTHER PPL DRIVE ON... and all of the ppl who take this course are BEGINNERS!!! its sooo scareeeeee... and i m kinda bad at drivin in my opinion.. hahaha... JIE I SUCK AT DRIVING..lolx.. but i think you still are worse.. =) hahaha...

Okay i think i m gonna charge my ipod and drag stuff in to my ipod.. =) its sooo gooood.. hahah love my ipod now..=) analisa turned off the lights so i kinda am tryin to type quietly which is kinda hard..lolx.. 3 girls in a rooom.. lolx.. i ll be sleepin nxt to analisa.. hope she doesnt kick.. i kinda need to be fresh for work tomorrow.. blaahh.. we were at a fourth of july gathering over at the Yacht Club juz now.. blog about is some other time..

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED...

thanks for all the concern.. all of you are such a considerate group of people.. what happened to my poor fingers?? heres the story..

eric decided to take us to a swimming hole called Harper's creek about 1 and 1/2 hours away from mooresville.. so on monday after drivers ed, we , along with eden and shelby, anya's friends made our way there... upon arriving we had to hike our way through the forest/jungle/dense population of trees to get to the swimming hole.. it was kinda like 2 mile or slightly less, hike to the destination.. we reached there all sweaty and wet.. and i had to change into my bathing suit.. so i went behind a tree and change.. talk about privacy man.. i bet i was completely hidden.. hahaha..

nyway.. to get to the water hole.. i had to go down the cliff -like edge.. and i made my way slowly.. and the last part was a rock.. and there was an orange rope died from tree.. and i grabbed the rope and made my way to the water.. as i went down.. i lost my balance and actually skidded down the rock on my butt but still holding on to the freakin orange rope..

do you know what happens when you hold on tightly to a rope while falling at a very high speed??

yea.. so thatw what i got.. my index finger was burnt.. and the skin on the side of my other 3 fingers were scraped off and felt like my hand was on fire.. NOT NICE AT ALL>.<

but even with that LIL mishap.. i still managed to swim and slide off a rock slide thingy.. i guess it was fun.. but could hve been MUCH better without the throbbing pain and constant worry of it being infected..

so right now.. my fingers are all filled with pus.. and its really DISGUSTING.. its yellow.. and they hardened.. i had put gauze on them on monday. .and the gauze actually stuck to the wound like glue.. DAMN PAIN... I HAD TO PULL IT OFF.. i cried... silently but i still cried.. that was how pain it was.. but i dont want anyone dissing me about it.. i mstill a GIRL.. i have the RIGHT to cry..

so now.. for work..i have no idea wad to do.. since i cant bend my fingers very well.. its gonna be a pain later.. BLAH...but nyway.. i will have to perservere..nothing much i can do about it but curse that damned orange rope.. but come to think of it.. i think it was better i clung on the the rope than let go.. if not i would have probably fell down and hit the rocks or smth.. so better be thankful that i m not in worse shape...

MY NAILS ARE NORMALLLY LONG.. =.= they arent THAAAAAT long la soh my dear.. i miss you though.. =)

okay finally the post about my JOB has come.. my job is fairly interesting... what i do it... DRUMROLL

so the first day, i didnt noe server assistants dont work on tuesday since its a slow day and all.. so i stayed with a girl named christi at the hostess stand.. she was really very nice.. she even gave me a ride home..

second day was tougher.. i was assigned to this guy named Ian.. he was suppose to train me.. although i dont noe HOW i m sposed to be trained.. its quite straight forward... But it was tiring... walk here.. turn..walk there.. turn.. go to the kitchen.. turn walk back to table.. BLAH .. and somehow my shoes were giving me a hard time since i didnt have time to break them in.. BLISTERS..

I had to work the NEXT day and BOY i could barely walk... although i DID hear stuff about.. wow shes so hardworking.. hahaha HEY I M CHINESE.. wad do YOU XPECT.. lolx.. and they said i have nice fingernails.. KEMBANG ahahhaha... oh well.. i DO have nice finernails waaad.. CMON.. YOU ARE JEALOUS OF ME...hahah

tomorrow i have drivers ed AGAIN.. wake up early.. and then later the peeps want to go to a swimming hole up somewhere. i couldnt care less.. i m not fond of swimming nymore... BLAH... oh wel i have to go sleeep..

okayyy i juz came back from work...SOooo tired...Since i m takin drivers ed in the morning... and i had to work today at 4.00pm.. so my schedule for today was like.. hmm i woke up at 7.30 am .. had myself cleaned up.. and then had my breakfast.. and then at 8 am we went out to Troutman which is around 20 to 30 minutes away from where we live.. and drivers ed starts at 8.30am.. and we HAVE TO SIT THROUGHT 3 FREAKIN HOURS OF SOMEONE TALKIN ABOUT DRIVING.. HONESTLY ... how can someone talk so much about driving. and the number of hours we have to do to get a Learner's Permit is 30 hours.. YES!! THIRTY FREAKIN HOURS> .HONESTLY.. THINK ABOUT IT.. how can someone.. talk about driving for 30 hours.... THIRTY HOURS.. You ll definitely run out things to say!! First chapeter was... MANAGING RISK WHEN DRIVING.. UGH.. boredom... CHAPTER 2.. getting acquainted with the vehicle you'll drive.. and among that was... APPROACHING YOUR VEHICLE.. i mean.. how retarded can ppl be to NOT noe how to approach a vehicle.. absurd.. blah....and so far this is my second day of drivers ed.. so.. 24 hours more to go... UGHHH.. this is so nasty...

So after that i came home.. and slept.. didnt sleep well last nite., i felt kinda sorta cold..so i ddnt get MUCH sleep.. i slept and then woke up .. took a shower and then i came online.. and
I was OFF TO THE POINT FOR MY FIRST DAY OF WORK..

Leena dropped me off.. and i went into the office.. and then i got my uniforms.. which is a blue shirt and black slacks.. OMG.. the pants are freakin ugly..OMG.. my MOST UNFAVOURITE PANTS IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD... WAIST HIGH.... THE HORROR OF WEARING WAIST HIGH PANTS... boyyyyy.. i hate IT!! lolx and then i followed a girl named Blanca around until the hostess came back.. Christi was the hostess for today.. OMG.. she s SO freakin nice..

theres a few different positions in the restaurant..

first theres the waitress/waiter.. they take orders and serve alcohol
second is the hostess.. she actually is the perky one who greets you and juz brings you to your table
then theres the foodrunner.. the ppl who actually bring the food to the table..
then theres the servers assistant AKA ME.. SET UP AND CLEAR UP THE DISHES.. blah..

But today no servers assistant on duty.. so i basically was a hostess today.. kinda.. i guesss..
it seriously a brain dead job... you dont have to think so much.. and i met some ppl.. so i guess it was not too bad.. only i didnt get nything to eat..and the pants were so annoying.. and my shoes gave me blisters. but i guess overall.. it wasnt bad.. i guess..

TOMORROW.. ANOTHER DAY OF STUPID DRIVERS ED and NO WORK =) the nxt day i work is thursday.. which is a busy day.. HAIH.. so tired.. i didnt get to sit down.. except in the toilet.. and i felt like a man coz i had to tuck in my shirt everytime i used the bathroom.. oh well.. ALL THE THINGS ppl would do for money.. wearing high waist pants.. which looks really ugly when tucked in.. HAIH..

i m so sleeepy.. i need sleeeeeep.... ahh.. oh yea.. and today i worked with matt.. the same guy i pulled in to the lake.. hahaha.. kinda funny...

after i ll be there for while.. i m gonna do an evaluation on the members of the club.. THAT LL BE FUN WONT IT..

Lolx.. i got a telephone call from Jim at The Point.. I start work on Tuesday 4 O'clock.. Wooots.. i need to buy Black shoes..Blaah... i cant shop when i know what to buy.. coz its hard to find something you have in mind.. like IDEAL shoes? Hmm hard..esp black ones that i m gonna use to walk ALOT in..Hmm Rockport had some nice ones.. but i hadnt heard back from the point yet so i didnt get them.. ughhh..

okay anyway.. birthday party on thursday.. it was fun.. lolx.. kinda many ppl.. POOL PARTY.. i had fun i guess.. but is not easy tryin to BLEND in with american kids esp when you re NOT one.. >< Heathers birthday.. but it wasnt actually her BIRTHDAY.. but anyway.. we played games like.. know the birthday girl.. which was kinda dumb for me coz i HARDLY knew her.. and then we played pop the balloon and do embarassing stuff in front of everyone.. i got SMOOCHED by an American boy.. haha.. on the cheek... lolx.. bet you all are disappointed.. it was a dare.. he had to kiss everyone on the cheek.. lolx.. nyway.. then we played LAPDANCE.. i swear i ve never sat on so many guy's laps in my entire life.. have i? hmm dont think so..

then after that we all makan.. hot dogs, burgers.. typical american grease food.. but i guess it was goooood.. coz i was so hungry.. ahhaa.. the pool took up alot of energy.. and it was kinda cold.. coz these past few days it has been kind of gloomy.. rainy.. i barely see the sun.. and JIE IN WISCONSIN IS GETTIN HOT.. omg...she took the SUN with her when she left.. haihhhhz.. its kinda of chilly most of the time.. and windy.. and juz looks like its goin to rain ANYTIME.. Had oreo ice cream cake.. HOMEMADE for cake... omg.. it was SO good...i hadnt had proper cake since i came here... craving for CAKE.. blaah.. mommy says the cakes here are not very good compared to at home.. me? i dont noe.. havent had enough cake to tell.. Oh yea.. you want good cake in Msia? go to Chef Jerome.. BEST CAKE EVER... and mighty expensive.. and will make you never wanna eat secret recipe cakes ever again.. not like they re any good but some arent bad...

I got a call-back for the job!! [like high school musical -_-lll]
So cool!
This is how it went for Tuesday..

I was reading a good book on the couch in the living room when Leena comes up to me and asks;

"Have you called The Point yet?"

"OMG I TOTALLY FORGOT.. I'LL GO CALL NOW''

So I went upstairs and called the place where i applied for the job. But i put the phone down as soon as i realised the person who i called wasnt the person i was lookin for..

FREAKED OUT!!

So Eric said he'd drive me down there to look for the person I was lookin for.. and it turned out.. Mr. Michael Male wasnt there. o.O [just in case u havent been readin my blog.. michael male is the person i gave my application to] ANYWAY... he wasnt in.. talked to a fella named Jim.. and he said I can hang around.. and someone would talk to me.. ><>

And so i talked to a woman named Nichole.. She was really nice.. told me stuff about the job.. what i d start out as [server assistant] and later i could get a job raise [to a hostess] and then yada yada.. and they couldnt find my application... WHAT THE EFF?? s

so i filled out a new one.. and later waited to be talked to by Gloria. their personal assistant.. nichole was the dining manager.. and then.. i filled up a couple of forms.. and they said i have to take a DRUG TEST and a PHYSICAL EXAMINATION.. BLAH.. do i look like a JUNKIE?? and i had to get a work permit since i m under 18 and all..all the bureaucratic crap..

First up.. the DRUG TEST/PHYSICAL EXAMINATION

I had to PEE IN A FREAKIN CUP!!!! OMG DO YOU NOE HOW DISTURBING IT IS TO PEE IN A CUP THEN LOOK AT YOUR PEE AND GIVE THE PEE TO A TOTAL STRANGER??? Omgg.. it was soooo.. horrifying.. lolx.. and i watched the nurse.. put indicators into my pee.. BLAH.. and i saw her put an X for Cocaine.. OBVIOUSLY.. i dont do drugs.. then she poured my pee into the sink.. YUCKS.. *shudders..* WAYY gross..

Later the physical examination was juz standard.. check ear.. check eyes.. check this that.. and lastly i had to bend over and touch my toes.. AND APPARENTLY.. although i have perfect posture.. AHEM.. HEY YOU ALL ARE THINKIN IT.. I M JUZ SAYING IT. =P it appears that i have a curve in my spine.. or smth... i have a defect for sure.. i dont noe wad it is but ihave it.. maybe some part of my spine is higher than the other.. WHATEVER IT IS.. the doctor said i should have it examined.. it might not b nything now.. but is could POSE PROBLEMS when i grow older.. i m in angst now..HAIH.. i have to call mommyy

so the nxt day we went to some place to get the youth workin certificate thingy.. had to go to social services to get it done.. paperwork.. give form.. show passport (no drivers license) and sign.. dats it.. and all i need now.. is to get a call from the place and i juz need my uniform made and I M SET TO WORK.. oh did i mention they had to do a background check?? I M LIKE.. WHOA.. DO I LOOK WANTED ON INTERPOL/FBI/THE POLICE 'S WANTED LIST?? but that come out clean so. no worries ..=)

what am i gonna do with my first paycheck? SEND IT BACK TO MY FOLKS AT HOME PROLLY!!

ANYWAY.. back to yesterday... dragged myself out of the bed to go to the arport to send jie jie off.. WHEN WE REACHED THR.. OMFG.. so many ppl.. and we were like thankk god we came early.. but the freakin line was like freakin long. waited easily 45 minutes inthat stupid line.. mayb less i wasnt counting but what the heck.. and when it was finally our turn.. the guy at the counter was like.. i m sorry its too late for you to get on this flight..i was like..xcuse my language.. WAD THE F**K?? WE WAITED IN THAT STUPID LINE FOR A LONG TIME AND NOW YOURE TELLIN HER SHE CANT GET ON THE FLIGHT??? GO TO THE BLAZES AND EAT MY SHIT.. o

i WISH i said that out loud but i didnt.. so bottomline is.. JIE MISSED HER FLIGHT.. but she got on another one.. complimentary.. i guess... or the a flight replacement or whatever la.. you get the idea.. UGH.. so it kinda worked out for the better since she didnt have to transit nywhere else.. mayb its blessings in diguise.. so after she left.. eric and i went home..

went to the bagel shop.. NYUMMY... and then went back upstairs.. tried to get some sleep.. UNSUCCESFUL..so i tidied up the room which i must say looks really neat now..kinda sora have some stuff out of place but its neater than my old room back at home.. then later i washed the toilet.. its a harthing to do.. nobody asked me to.. it was entirely VOLUNTARILY DONE.. but is not easy.. the tiolet is twice the size of the one back at home.. and it has 2 sinks and a bathtub..BLAAH.. i think i spent one hour cleANING IT..

omg i am so stupid.. I COULD VE WROTE MY WHOLE POST IN A NOTHER COLOUR AND LATER CHANGE THE COLOUR. stupid stupid... arghhhhhh.. OKAY.. MY MOMENTS OF STUPIDITY HAS ENDED..

Nyway... after that i went to my room.. and i doodled on some paper.. and i fell asleep.. Anya was using the computer.. i think i did snore.. a lilbit... i was so FREAKIN TIRED..and i slept for quite a long time.. after that i woke up and set the table for dinner.. and had dinner.. and went out to rent a movie.. i WANT TO WATCH POTC 3.. AAAAAA.. i m gonna go crazee!! i wanna watch it soooo bad... BLAH so later at night.. watched a really weird movie with nicholas cage in it... and had ice cream with hot fudge.. =) ice cream is my best friend..

And that was the end of yesterday..

My wounds are healing okay i guess.. i put peroxide on the thumb wound.. it smarts.. like a lil.. smarts as in.. pain.. okay? hahaa.. i ve got a load of books to read.. library lets you borrow as many books as you can carry... SO COOL...and the library has good books.. so nyway.. my aunt juz said i am fat already.. AAAA.. DIET..!! no more fudge with ice cream.. juz ICE CREAM WILL DO...

She s offering to send a 1kg parcel.. so far i only noe maggie mee is gonna be one of them.. SUGGESTIONS PLEASE.. food stuff is encouraged..

So.. since i juz came back from my holiday trip from the beach.. i shall use YELLOW to blog.. seems kinda holiday-ISH.. lolx.. so i went to the beach on tuesday..June the 5th.. with 3 of Anya's friends.. sooo.. altogether there were 7 of us... so on the way there.. we were like.. watching movies.. watched 2 movies on the portable DVD player.. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL.. which i d already seen.. and had fun making fun of it.. later we watched.. RENT>. <>

Overall i did have fun at the beach.. cept for a few parts.. my bestfriend came to pay me my monthly visit.. so i didnt exactly go into the water.. but i did go cycling.. on a bicycle.. and i ran into a tree!!! so thats why i m typing with middle finger on my left hand.. i LOST TWO FINGERS.. alright.. i only can move my indelx finger a lil.. its bruised pretty bad.. i ran into a PALM TREE.. so sad right.. haih.. but i love cycling.. jie has muscle aches though. i dont..=) <3>

Oooo those words that i ve always despised.. okay lets cut the drama... i dont DESPISE shopping. i m juz not a fan of walkin so much and end up not buying nything.. i'd like shopping if :

1. I have more money

2. Everything I want is like.. MY SIZE

3. There were sales everyday..

4. I dont have to walk around so much.. esp in CIRCLES

5. Branded stuff were more affordable..

actually i did do a bit of shopping.. so far this is what i ve bought.. all prices are in USD..(US DOLLARS)

1. pair of shoes.. for boating..ROCKPORT.. $44.99

2. pair of brown platforms from ANN TAYLOR LOFT.. $19.00

3. t-shirt with johnny depp's face on it.. from TJ-MAXX.. $7.99

4. Long sleeved wide collar striped shirt from TJ-MAXX..$7.99

5. sleeveless hoodie from GAP.. gorgeous really.. gray in colour.. actual price is actually $39.50.. reduced to 19.99 plus a 15% with the GAP CARD..$14.22

6. A ribbed tank with blue and white stripes from GAP.. actual price $16.50.. reduced to $4.99 plus a 15% with again..THE GAP CARD.. $3.55

7. a black pullover.. love the sleeeves.. long .. actual price is $ 39.50 which was reduced to 19.99 which with my 15% discount was...i LOVE GAP card..$7.11

8. a red watch.. from a stall.. nice nyway.. i wanted a nike watch but it was around $50. i love brand.. $13.20

so far these are my purchases in 3 days.. i feel like i am splurging.. but i m kinda having a resolve not to buy so many things. but i m juz in need of t-shirts.. SERIOUSLY.. lolx.. my reasoning is.. clothes for the summer and back to school clothes.. reasonable ey.. and i m NOT LIVING IN DENIAL.. i m also gonna make a list of stuff i need..

1. capris.. denim preferably.. shin length..i dont want it above my knee..shorts can do that job..

2. a skirt.. a nice skirt so i can be a GIRL once in a while..

i guess thats it really.. i have 2 pairs of shorts..which i think are quite nice.. brought them from Msia.. and i think 2 is really all i need.. and i have 2 ugly ones i can wear in the house.. i have loose capris.. i dont really know the definition.. but its loose.. so i juz need one more.. i have SO many jeans.. so i dont need them.. cargo pants would b nice.. but that i ll get when i see GREAT SALES .. and when they say CLEARANCE. they MEAN clearance.. >< <3

Jie bought guess pants which i think i look better in.. reduced to alot.. but i didnt pants.. so i didnt bother getting them..

Now.. all i need bsides those mentioned above.. .. is ... MONEY!!!!!!! ughh.. the person from where i handed in my job application STILL hasnt called me yet.. its a bit annoyin though.. i could use the money..

Use of MY FIRST PAYCHECK..(when it comes)

send it back to mommy and daddy.. its something i ve always wanted to do.. its soo... FAMILY-ISH..

so that leaves me with...

MY SECOND PAYCHECK..

get a branded SOMETHING.. lolx.. we ll see.. maybe the nike watch or a new backpack.. reebok perhaps? we ll see.. we ll see..

PS: the shoes i got from rockport sound really xpensive but they really cute n REALLY WORTH it.. blue colour.. looks very sporty.. i can use it for running... shopping and juz lookin cute.. what a GREAT INVESTMENT..
