School

Did NOT go as I expected.. it suxed.. it was like attending 4 classes of tuition in a row.. and a lunch break in between. but it didnt feel long come to think of it.

its the exact opposite of school back home.. you walk to your classes instead of the teacher coming into YOUR classroom.. you dont wear uniforms.. which is a bummer coz you have to think of what you re going to wear.. you have different set of students each subject.. and honestly.. you think that maybe it is cool.. but its so different it kinda is juz so foreign to you that you cant really digest it.

and i have not made new friends.. cept one.. she s kelsey.. and she s a freshman.. but i only see her during health/PE and lunch.. seems like everyone has their own group of friends and i m gonna be like oh i dunno.. i juz dont feel in place.. no one makes me feel welcome.. its not like at school.. when someone is new.. everyone is so friendly.. but mayb its juz me..

i ll juz wait for school to settle down and then let it sink in.. my teachers are nice.. math is easy.. kinda.. if i stop being so careless.. i will.. i had homework.. i have a history test tomorrow.. mr. T juz wants to test our knowledge on world history.. what i have in my head? is N.O.T.H.I.N.G.

i honestly hope things get better.. if it stays like this.. i dont think i m goin to like school very much.. at this point.. although its unfair to say so coz its too early.. i dont like it very much.. i miss all my friends.. THATS YOU GUYS!!! love you loads..

Limited Learner's Permit- Passed the test and got my DAMN PERMIT!!!


The title says it all doesnt it.. HAHAHA.. YES I PASSED THE WRITTEN TEST AND I HAVE MY LEARNER'S PERMIT.. its legal for me to drive now with a parent in the car.. =) so today i woke up at around 8.. and i watched a movie on my computer.. and then got ready at about 10? i dont rmbr.. nyway.. went to downtown Mooresville to the DMV office.. so many ppl there.. not as many as monday.. but still.. signed in.. then sat in the waiting lobby..

studied my stupid road signs.. and juz sang along silently to my ipod.. and waited for my name to be called.. it was like 2 hours for my name to be called.. then they gave me a no. B321.. i rmbr it.. =) and then waited for another 30 minutes.. then i heard my no. over the intercom.. THREE HUNDRED AND TWENTY ONE. COUNTER 1. OOO no butterflies in my stomach.. felt more like helicopters with giant propellers.. and the lady.. or rather OFFICER GREENE [WHAT??? I PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS... SO SHOOT ME!!] she took my details. asked my questions and stuff.. and then asked me to look into a seeing device. which your spose to lean your forehead against.. its like those machines in the optical shop.. sorta.. nyway.. i put my forehead against the UGH oily thing.. and then read the signs.. i didnt miss ny.. i identified all the signs correctly.. I BREEZED THRU.. haha.. she said i made it look easy.. then she asked me to go to the computer and do the written test.. [YIKES!]

i sat down and stared at the touch screen computer.. with my name on it.. and i touched and heard the clickety click of my fingernails agains the screen.. HERE GOES!!! 25 questions.. to pass you need to have 20 or more correct.. i had 2 wrong =) sometimes i surprise myself.. i was soooo scared i was gonna fail and Leena was going to have to come again and we d have to wait 2 hours and 30 minutes again.. but.. i came thru fine.. Officer Greene said i did well.. and didnt struggle coz i apparently did it quite fast..

then she asked me if i wanted to be an organ donor.. and asked me to sign my signature.. i did. but i had to do it small.. and my signature cant be done prettily when its so small.. cant do it with a flourish.. and now my permit has a pathetic small lookin signature which looks SO much better when its bigger.. WHAT THE HECK.. doesnt matter.. i got my PERMIT.. i picked a light house design on mine. and i look fat in my permit picture.. at least i m not frowning.. ahha..

Leena didnt let me drive home.. i wanted to drive!!! but i thought doesnt matter.. i ll drive to family video to return the dvds later.. but somebody already returned them.. BLAH.. i WANT TO DRIVEEE!!!! I HAVE MY PERMIT AND I STIL HAVENT GOTTEN ON THE ROAAAAAAAD!! tsk..

oh i can drive golf carts =)

UPDATE!!! finally...

SO.. its been a while since i've blogged.. i have no idea what to blog about.. i COULD blog about work.. but it seems kinda boring now.. altho i still enjoy working there..

so.. erm... i honestly have no idea wad to blog about.. OH YEA.. school starts next weeek!! cant wait? more like.. i m trying not to think too much about it.. i AM kinda lookin forward to it.. but i m kinda intimidated by the whole idea of american high school kids.. its juz scareee.. so many social issues to deal with..

NYWAY.. daddy promised me that i could have a phone.. i m MAYB getting my PDA.. that i broke.. >.<>

but still.. oh well.. erm.. what else? the burn near my elbow is kinda gross looking.. the skin peeled off.. really gross looking.. i had to report it to my manager coz juz in case it gets infected my employers will pay the bill.. but everyone made a big deal out of it.. but it DOES look nasty though.. nyway.. i ll post pictures next time.. i still havent uploaded it to my comp.. i got a picture of SHANE.. the sarcastic manager who s actually really nice.. if you do your work.. =)

AND we were supposed to get mine.. but some idiot at the guidance office made a mistake on the date.. and corrected it on the paper.. and DMV (department of motor vehicles) didnt accept it.. we waited for like 2 bloody hours.. annoying.. i m goin back to do it tomorrow.. i hope i pass.. UGH.. annoying... SO ANNOYING!!!! makes me sooo mad..

nyway.. happy 15th birthday anya!! enjoy your 15 year old-hood.. hahah

Driving Ed..

I have started driver's ed.. on Tuesday.. i drove on the ROAD.. i drove where there were traffic LIGHTS!! so... it was exciting.. but i don't really know what to post about.. i have to leave in like 20 minutes... going driving sumore..

and i ve watched the Bourne Ultimatum.. SMASHIN GOOOOOOD!! only matt damon didnt wear a long coat.. and he looked kinda insomniac.. like puffy eyes.. dark circles.. he didnt look as suave as he did in the second movie..

nywaYY.. i have to leave in like 10 minutes.. and i m so sleepy.. so i m goin to go and have my breakfast.. post later!!

Guidance counsellor meeting

Lets start with last night.. I went to bed after CSI:Miami.. love that show... =) anyway.. i slept at around 12.. and then fell into a deep slumber.. and then woke up at 4.. shaking.. i had a nightmare.. scaree!! it involved 3 men and a gun.. in the dream they were tryin to shoot another man.. which was me.. =.=lll IT WAS SCAREE.. imagine being chased by someone and then.. i woke up when i ran into a room.. it was like a store room.. with a window.. i was going to escape through that.. but i knew that i didnt have time until the gunman would come and shoot me.. so i hid under a chair.. and then i woke up.. shaking and all.. UGH... then i couldnt fall back to sleep till like 6.. spent time with sangdoo my iPod.. listened to melodies which were supposed to lull me to sleep.. finally fell asleep at 6.. and then my alarm went off at 7 am.. but i think.. i distinctly rmbr turning it off and i heard alex's alarm as well.. but i was bushed..

7.20.. i hear someone at the door going.. elena are you awake.. and knock knock on the door.. CRAP!!! dash.. throw off PJs.. and throw on whatever i found.. rushed to bathroom brush teeth.. wanted to shower.. but no time..><>

then we went to Lake Norman to meet up with the guidance counsellor.. we were like 3 minutes late.. and then.. we ended up like half an hour.. waiting for her... but she was really nice..=) so.. after a 2 hour discussion.. i finally know what subs i m gonna take..

im doing like 4 subs per semester.. so i think this semester i ll be doing algebra II, chemistry, english III and either spanish or world history.. chorus is basically choir.. since i like to sing so much.. eric suggested it.. and beth and loghan said i should.. since miss wagner who's apparently the chorus teacher likes foreign students.. we'll see.. BLAH.. there was a fuss about my math grade though... Haha.. my maths SUX.. oh well.. we ll see if i can do algebra II then i ll be fine.. if i m good.. i SHOULD be able to move up to do pre-calculus.. if i dont do good here.. i ll have to be bumped down to do algebra I.. I will work my hardest to ensure that doesnt happen.. UGH.. math.. curse youuu...

oh yea.. i m gonna drive tomorrow.. YAY!! dont worry i ll be fine.. i ll try not to kill myself.. or the others in the car.. haha.. i got some pictures of the school too.. i ll post them some other time.. too lazee to blog more..

OH YEA.. i cut my own hair the other day.. or rather TRIED to cut my hair.. stupid fringe is gettin long.. and covering my eyes.. so i tried to cut it.. but it was hard.. coz i couldnt see it when i combed it down.. oh well.. and then i snipped like a lock of hair at the back and was like.. oh SH*T!!!! man.. ><>

Nothing much Happening lately

so.. eric and leena are OFF to chicago.. or rather.. they re coming back tomorrow.. can't wait.. bringing me back FOOOOOD!!! and only jie knows what else stuff.. =) she forgot my ipod skin though. ugh.. how could you.. my ipod needs protection..

anyway... nothing much has been happening.. nothing worth mentioning anyway.. only ytd i had chinese food.. lo mein.. whenever i see lo mein.. i keep thinkin its lo mein.. in soup.. but its always fried.. disappointed.. but it was good.. i guess.. abit salty.. i guess chinese food here is known for the ajinamoto-ness.. and i got a fortune cookieee!! and my fortune said.. practice makes perfect.. thats not a fortune.. its.. i dont know what.. blah..

and the woman in the store..looked at me funny.. i guess she looked at me funny coz i was asian.. mayb.. i have no idea..i get that alot here by other fellow asians.. mayb coz i m a CUTE asian...NOT or a weird asian.. or just a fellow asian.. well i do that all the time too.. get really hyper when i see another asian. its so easy to point them out in crowds.. yellow skin.. black hair.. or dark..and i m talkin about oriental asians... then the next thing i look at is how good lookin they are.. =.= oh well..

back home it was all ang mohs.. HEY SOH LOOK.. ANG MOH.. squeal.. now here i see whites everywhere.. its brimming with caucasians..lolx.. so if i see an asian.. WAHAHAHA.. but its kinda dampening when they are ABCs.. i mean i m an ABC too but im not raised an ABC.. lolx.. so the ABCs are more like.. americans.. kinda odd but oh well.. have to live with it..

jie got really happy when she got kuey teow for me.. i was like.. KUEY TEOW.. i dont really LIKE kuey teow.. has the kuey teow taste.. blah.. especially in soup.. ><>

ytd anya and i watched 3 movies.. erm.. step up.. again.. CHANNING TATUM IS SOOOO GORGEOUS.. and then miss potter.. not bad.. abit chunky.. but anya like ewan mcgregor so it eye candy for her..=) and then.. CATCH AND RELEASE!!! omgawd.. it was soooo cool seeing timothy olyphant on the tv.. so handsome.. and ANYA LIKES THE MOVIE.. BLUEK TO YOU KON XIN HUA.. you re the only one who doesnt like it.. freaaaaak!! =)

and then i found out that channing tatum and timothy olyphant are gonna be in a same movie.. YAY!! but its R-rated.. blah.. for violence..but oh well.. we can let that slip can't we.. i m sure its just a Leeeetle bit.. and its scheduled to come out on the 28th of march.. =) i would have just had my 17th birthday.. and first birthday away from home.. and i m MATURED compared to others.. everybody atwork keeps askin if i m leavin for college.. =.= i m NOT OLD LA.. so i asked if i look old.. they said no.. you have the maturity factor.. haha.. not so matured back home.. more like IMMATUREEEEEEE..=) daddy always call me immature coz i m so childish =P

oh well.. short post today.. gotta clean house.. and shower.. workin at 3 to 9 later.. YAY!!.. WHAT?? i LIKE WORKING SO WHAT... ugh..

i clocked in 58 hours last 2 weeks.. aint it SWEEEEEET..so inclusive of tax.. its 420 dollars..=)

yesterday we went shopping.. northlake mall again.. i seem to have a uniform for that particular place. jeans and a shirt.. and ppl keep askin me.. arent you hot in those jeans? like.. NO.. jeans are what i m most comfortable in.. and i m bettin you.. if ang mohs go to tropical countries.. they will wear .. SHORTS/BERMUDAS yada yada.. i guess us Asians are tolerant to the hot weather.. it doesnt really matter if we re in jeans..

anyway.. i shopped around.. didnt buy much.. but i DID see bubbletea.. omgawd.. run by... ASIANS.. probably taiwanese ppl.. dont know.. but i think they were speakin mandarin.. couldnt really hear it either.. and i got an ALMOND FLAVOURED BUBBLE TEA... reminded me of the hot almond tea in Penang.. kinda good.. and then juz walked around.. wanted to get corduroy black pants.. for work.. and for colder weather but couldnt find... looked at shoes.. all opened toe.. ugly dont like.. some really nice ones but too tall.. but i figured i didnt need any anyway.. shoe fettish.. oh well..

then at night.. we watched one movie.. with michael caine in it.. Zulu.. omgawd.. its like the western rendition of Bukit Kepong.. goodness gracious.. and michael caine was sooo young.. and kind of like a PON-DAN.. if you get what i mean..he always seems to play those kind of characters.. anyway.. violent movie.. the blood scenes were not so real.. but its not good.. coz you.. okay fine I for one.. kept imagining someone stabbing ME.. ><>

then after taht.. i watched the Bourne Supremacy.. we watched the Bourne Identity the night b4.. loved it.. matt damon is physically attractive in a strange but good way.. IMO his side profile looks like hillary swank.. but in a good way.. anyway.. the third movie is coming out sooon.. the bourne ultimatum.. another movie i want to watch.. =) along with enchanted.. google it.. and to all you girls who are reading.. you'll KNOW ITS A MOVIE TO WATCH.. =) its a disney movie.. but what the heck.. Anyway.. back to the Bourne movies.. they seem more realistic than other action flicks like the BOND or MISSION IMPOSSIBLE.. Jason bourne reads maps, evacuation plans.. so real.. =) and he wears those long trench coats like keanu reeves does in the matrix.. SOOOOOO STYLISHLY HOT.. haha.. yeng!! kakkoii.. when he runs.. OMGOD.. when he jumps... WHOAAA.. man.. juz thinkin about it makes me hyperventilate.. okay bimbo moment is over =)
